Everest Double

In April 2015, at the age of 23 years old, I attempted to break two records by becoming the first European and the youngest ever, to climb Mount Everest twice, on two routes, consecutively.

 

Six weeks in to the Expedition, the Nepalese earthquake struck. The convulsions caused an avalanche that tragically caused 24 fatalities on the mountain and I decided to abandon the pursuit. In 2018, I revisited the attempt starting on the Nepalese side of the mountain. Despite summiting Everest on 17th May, I was unable to complete his double ascent despite being 24 hours from the second summit due to my supplementary oxygen being stolen.
